Professionals refer to independent service providers or Broopi professionals looking to deliver services on the Broopi Platform to a user/customer.
“Co-branded Services” refers to the definition provided for the term in paragraph 5(c) of this document.
“Customer” refers to an individual who seeks to obtain services from the Professionals or Vendor Partners on the Broopi Platform.
“Device” refers to a computer, mobile phone, or any other gadget used to access the Services.
“Device Identifier” refers to the IP address or any other unique identifier associated with the Device.
“Promotion” refers to any contests and additional promotions provided by us.
"Personal Information" refers to categories of data that can reasonably be used to identify you individually, such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
“TPSP” refers to a service provider that is external to the organization.
“Usage Information” will have the definition ascribed to it in paragraph 3(II) of this document.
“Vendor Partner” refers to external service providers that offer 2-wheeler rental services on the Broopi Platform.
1 WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ?
Personal Details: We might request that you give us specific Personal Details. We can gather this information through different methods and in various locations to provide Services, such as account registration forms, contact us forms, or when you interact with us in other ways. Upon registering for the Services, you establish a user profile. We will request that you provide only the Personal Information that is legally required for purposes related to our Services and essential for us to collect for that reason.

Account Details: Set up or modify your Broopi account which could involve your email address, name, address, mobile number, gender, birth date, photo, username, password, banking or payment information (as allowed by Applicable Laws), etc.
Retained Data: As you utilize our Services, we might gather and retain Information regarding you to handle your requests and automatically fill out forms for subsequent transactions, such as (but not limited to) your telephone number, address, email address, payment details, emergency contact details, etc.
Verification Information: As a Vendor Partner or Professional, we might gather location information, profile images, call and SMS data, copies of government-issued IDs like Aadhaar and Permanent Account Number, license information, and additional details (KYC), user preferences, along with other documents that demonstrate health or fitness on the Broopi Platform periodically. As a Professional, you might also need to take real-time selfies and upload them to the Broopi Platform periodically to confirm your identity.
Background check Details: We gather background check and identity verification data of the Professionals and Vendor Partners. This could involve gathering information like criminal history or records (when allowed by law), as well as the right to work. This data might also be gathered on behalf of the Company.
Other Apps: If you register as a Professional or Vendor Partner, activate features that need Broopi’s authorization for other applications on your Device to help prevent and identify fraud against Customers.
Additional Information: We gather extra details you supply when communicating with Broopi for customer assistance or when you report issues for resolution. We also gather information that you might send electronically, such as when you engage in in-app messaging, post on message boards, or give ratings, reviews, or comments. If you refer a friend, we might also gather, keep, and utilize your friend's name and contact details for promoting our Services.
Moreover, you shall not upload, display, share, host, publish, or transmit any information that:
It is damaging, insulting, threatening, profane, sexually explicit, intrusive of someone else's privacy, hateful, racially or ethnically unacceptable, derogatory, associated with or promoting money laundering or gambling, or an online game that harms users, or otherwise illegal in any way, or inciting animosity between various groups based on religion or caste with the intention of provoking violence;
Tricks or misguides the recipient regarding the source of these messages, or shares any falsehoods or information that is clearly inaccurate, untrue, or misleading.
Endangers the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other nations, or public order; incites the commission of any cognizable offence, obstructs the investigation of any offence, or insults another nation.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AS YOU ACCESS AND USE BROOPI
Transaction Details: We gather transaction details including Order specifics, Distance and completed tasks locations, distance covered, payment transaction data (in accordance with Applicable Laws), etc.
Location data:
Professionals and Vendor Partners: Broopi gathers location information when the Broopi App operates in the foreground (app is open and displayed) or in the background (app is not actively used) on your mobile device. For Professionals, Broopi gathers location information solely when the Professionals/Vendor Partner has activated the “On-Duty” icon within the Broopi App.
Customers: We gather exact or estimated location information from your Device if you allow us to do so. Broopi gathers this information from the moment a Service is requested until its completion, as well as whenever the app operates in the foreground of your Device. We utilize this data to improve your experience with the Broopi App/Website, such as refining Customer location accuracy, activating safety features, and identifying and preventing fraud. Even if you have not permitted us to gather location data from your Device, Broopi collects the Professionals' location data obtained during a trip and associates this location data with your account. This allows us to provide services for you, including receipt creation and client assistance, while ensuring the safety of the Customers.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We will utilize your personal information only when permitted by law. In general, we will utilize your personal data when we need to offer you the Services, allow you to access the Professional Services, or when it's necessary for us to meet a legal requirement. (ii) to deliver the Services to you;
(iii) to facilitate the delivery of Professional Services to you;
(iv) to observe trends and tailor your experience;

(vi) to enhance customer service for effectively addressing your service requests and support requirements;
(vii) to monitor transactions and handle payments;

(ix) to help facilitate the Professional Services provided to you, including sending you information and updates regarding the Professional Services you have utilized;

This is intended to deliver the Services to you and guarantee that you understand all the functionalities of the Services and for related reasons.
You consent to and recognize that all information related to you, regardless of whether you supply it directly to us (through the Services or otherwise), including but not limited to personal communications like emails, your instructions, etc., may be gathered, organized, and shared by us to provide the Services to you. This may encompass, but is not restricted to, service professionals aimed at delivering or attempting to deliver Professional Services to you, vendors, social media organizations, third-party service firms, storage companies, data analysis providers, consultants, attorneys, and auditors. We might additionally disclose this information to other organizations within the Broopi group related to the aforementioned purposes.
You consent and recognize that we can disclose data without your permission when mandated by law or any court or government entity or authority to reveal such information. DELETION OF ACCOUNT AND PERSONAL DATA
Regardless of what is stated in the Terms, you have the option to remove your account and your personal information held by Broopi by emailing support@broopi.com. Broopi might require as many as 7 (seven) business days to handle your request. After your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to any Services. To eliminate any uncertainty, it is clarified that all information regarding transactions you conduct on the Platform will be preserved in compliance with relevant laws.
DATA RETENTION
You accept and recognize that your personal information will be retained and stored by us for as long as needed to achieve our defined purpose(s) and for a reasonable duration following the termination of your account on the Platform or access to the Services to uphold our legal rights and responsibilities.

This Policy does not include the use of any information about you that is gathered by the Professionals or VendorPartners while delivering Plumbing,cleaning, electrician/electrical/carpenter/PestControl/ApplianceRepair/AcRepair/Bathroom Cleaning/Photography Services, or similar services.
MARKET STUDY AND OTHER BENEFITS
We might disclose your information, such as your Personal Information and Usage Information, to third parties for various reasons, including but not limited to performing market research/studies, carrying out data analysis, identifying and tailoring product or service offerings, enhancing the products or Services, or providing you with any other benefits/products/services.
USER GENERATED CONTENT
We encourage you to share content on our Platform, such as your comments, feedback, photos, or any other details you wish to make accessible on our Platform.
